I took my ground school in...crap... My brain is so old I can't remember the year anymore- let's just say 1979 for the fun of it.  I was way too poor to actually be able to afford air time so abandoned that notion pretty darn quick.....Somehow, the private pilot's license reappeared on my "Before I Die" list last year. Hadn't really been thinking about it. Just meandered onto the list uninvited.

However, of items lingering in the airborne category of the [B]BID[/B] list, skydiving appears infinitely more likely to earn a checkmark first.   In the short run, leaping out of a plane is far easier on the budget than learning to fly one.  :laugh:  Plus, I can simply strap my heaving hulk of aging rotten flesh to someone else and get pushed out of a plane. No real talent, knowledge, or skill involved in that!! All the requirements to make it Very Doable for this completely talentless old gal. ;)
