With all the talk about mixing oil and gas, and the recurring delima of Mobil 2-stroke oil, did I add oil or not, does anyone know if adding a little food coloring to the mixed gas will harm your engine?? A guy could have designer colors even.. Just think of the possibilities.

If the food coloring is water based, it may not mix with the fuel.

Is there some type of dye that would work? This is a problem I've had too.

I use a dye at work that would do the trick but I wouldn't add it to my fuel. It's a powder that disolves. IMO, kind of like adding sugar in your gas tank.
