this rookie needs some help.

im changeing the oil on my 2004 yz450f and ive drained all the oil out of the frame and the engine but im not sure where im supposed to fill it up at. do i fill up jus the engine or the frame and the engine.

The manual says the engine.But it also says never start the engine without oil in the frame.I do both.
