is it stock?

no pipe changes or nothing?
what kind of oil are ya using?
i use a good synthetic, at about 50:1, br8es for a plug. :ride:
that number scares some people, but i've ran it in all my bikes for many years, less foul, less smoke, and seems to run better all around. have not had one blow up yet:)
good luck. someone else might have a better answer.

try this first

get some good oil...not chainsaw stuff, parts guy should be able to help ya, and run 40:1 or 44:1 and see if that will cure it.
if not you might have a carb prob, ring prob, several things.
have you tested the compr.
should be at least 110-120, but above 120 is best. this is with a cheap home tester, there only about 20-30 bucks, and you just screw it where the plug goes and give her a few good kicks.
thats about all the shadetree i have left....good luck
