I was going to race opening weekend at Devil's but am not excited about the first ride on the 250 being under race conditions, especially the 1st race of the year, ...the place is going to be packed.
Lil96 will be finished with b-ball and ready to ride, might even have his new 85 by then, we'll see.
Lola is looking forward to getting the XR raised back to stock height, and if for some reason the 133 does not sell this weekend, I'll bring it down as well.
So guys, who else is up for a pre Spode-fest ride?
James, need you to help me lift up this gauntlet, ... maybe the two of us can throw it down.

I think I can make it out. That will give the arm another week or so of healing and time to change my tube and clean the filter.

I hafta get to Spartanburg and help Ivan recreate his bike as well so I'll see what I can arrange.

Ricky is playing on both the U13 classic team (they play statewide) and the JV-B team (he's still in middle school, but they let a few play on the JV-B team). He has practice 4 nights a week for one and 3 nights a week for the other. That means 4:30-5:45 and then 6:00-7:30 three days a week, then *only* 4:30-5:45 on Wednesdays. Plus anywhere from 2-4 games per weekend. Waaay too much soccer!

Geez, Gomer, that is some serious practice. My little one is going to play soccer for the first time this year and my Alex plays baseball, I think my fishing days are numbered. Thank goodness the wifey likes to ride bikes!

For the first 4 years it was just a single 1 hour practice per week with a Saturday game. I was assistant coach those years. Once he made it to the classic team (where you have to try out and qualify) it started getting much more serious.

I thought it was a bad idea for him to do both the classic and JV team this year, but we'll see if he can handle it.

I called Ivan today to try and pin him down on this weekend but he was torn between doing his job and hitting the toilet.

I'm thinking I'll make it.

The way things are looking I'll be too busy this weekend to do much.

James, you might as well send the center bolt down. I can pay-pal you or send you a check for everything. I really appreciate what you've done but it looks like the earliest I'd be able to work on the bike is the 15th :(

I talked to Gomer yesterday and he said the track was in great shape on Sat. I think it was, and that they have made some major changes to the big track. I wouldn't think the big track will be hurt too bad by the rain would it. Now the small track is another story.

Bryan, I am on for Sat. probably just me and Alex. I'll just ride the 200 to poke around with him. What time do you want to ride. I think my little one has a birthday part at 2:00 so after lunch would be good if possible.

I'm 80% sure I'll be there. Depends partially on the weather and partially on getting out of an afternoon soccer game.
