I just bought my bike about 5 months ago. On my second ride, my friends took me to a huge drop in jump. They jumped it, but I wasn't ready for it yet. It is about 60' from top to bottom with the first 5-10 feet being verticle and then it is concaved to the bottom. :yikes:
I never stopped thinking about this jump since the day I saw it, so everytime I had a chance I would practice dropping in on anything I could find from 2 ft. to 5 ft. elevation changes.
Well today we went to the drop-in and I did it!! I climbed to the top and sat there for about a minute to get my nerve up. The first time wasn't pretty. I creeped off the lip and landed right at the bottom of the verticle section and rode down the remaining 50 ft. The second time I nailed it. I launched and landed about half way down. It was one of the coolest feelings I have had on my bike so far. :aj:
