Fitting fittings For the head pipe I use an expansion plug meant for sealing plumbing when testing for leak inspections. Safety wired it to the spring loops, just in case. For the "stinger" end, braided hose, a few hose clamps, and a male quick disconnect fitting, did the trick. Then use a regulated supply which allows you to slowly turn the pressure up. The regulator also allows pressure to bleed off as the heat builds it up. I've had good luck using Mapp gas as it is considerably hotter than propane. Just pressurize and start heating the dent from the deepest part working circular motion until it pushes back out. Sometimes you have to get it really red hot. That's the advantage of using Mapp instead of acytalene for me, I didn't need to worry about burning a hole in the pipe. It will discolor it but, Blue Away and chrome polish helps. I just end up putting a pipe guard on anyway to lessen the need for future repairs. I've had good results on about 6 or 7 dents on 4 different pipes. (I ride and race desert.) FMF Gnarly's are tough to dent and even tougher to repair. But it beats buying a new pipe. Good luck.
