top and bottom rebuild!

i was wondering how hard it was to split the cases to do a bottom end rebuild! is there any certain tool that i would need to complete it???? i have done some top end rebuilds but none like this and with my money suppy being short, i wanted to know if it was possible for me to do????

it is a 2001 blaster.

It's possible if you're mechanically inclined but it will require some special tools, namely a case splitter and crank puller. Here's a link to a youtube video that will walk you through the process. Good luck.

what is a good crank assy to get??? i was looking at the hot rods stroker. is that a good one to get???

if the cylinder already has a sleave in it and i wanted to get oversized rings for it could i just hone it out.

yes they are very good crank assembles i have heard of nothing bad about them :cool:

would the hot rods crank make the quad faster with it in than it would with the stock crank in???

A replacement crank/rod assembly would not make it any faster than stock.
