Loosen the top triple clamp bolts leave the bottoms tight . Find a good 6 point socket that fits properly put it over the cap and give it a tap or two it might need to be shocked loose . Turn it out smoothly so you dont strip it . If the forks are out maybe you can use a heat gun or a small torch to warm up the top of the tubes . Setting the forks upside down overnight might help get some oil up into the threads .
It's pretty nice, we have some desert, some mountains. The problem is that the sport is just starting out here(= legal and insurence problems). and of course theres is the element of surprise ( = someone surpsrising you with a machine gun in the middle of nowhere :) ).a month ago I was at a rally-type race and some bedwins (desert dwelling people) threw rocks at some of the contestents.
