Well guys i just bought my first dirt bike and its a 99 yz 125. It sounds to me like there is some piston slap in the top end. So yesterday i took the top end apart checked the piston out and it looks to be in perfect shape. (its a type "A" piston) Then i looked inside the cylinder and theres a small knick in the wall between the intake/exhaust ports. The bike has a hot rod kit on it i guess. My question is should i be really concerned about the knick on the cylinder wall? What can i do to get rid of the piston slap? Any help would be awesome.
