It was like slip and slide out there for the practices and heats. The mains were better but my need for a new rear tire became very evident. If my comments about Randy taking me out were "going on and on", then we'll have to find a good word that describes these Shakespearean plays that you and Wrench put on when something goes wrong. Ivan was so pissed off about not being able to get around 97 that he completely missed the fact that I passed him and ran about 1/20th of the lap in front of him. I couldn't have been beaten by a nicer guy in the +30 C/D than WhyZee Dave. I could see him looking back as I was trying to run him down and I think a pileup of two other guys on the last turn before the finish is what saved him. I am just glad that I was able to get up and going again as the crash smashed my throttle tube and it was stuck for a while. This is on the replacement list also (anybody have an opinion on aluminum throttle tubes???) Even better was hanging out with Lil 96 comparing notes on Playstation games. I think I've finally found somebody in the bunch that I can have an intelligent conversation with (besides Mrs Ivan and Mrs Gomer of course). The hardest thing to swallow is Gomer out there riding with broken spokes, a broken front brake lever, on a bike that cuts out over the jumps, passing us like we are out on a Sunday cruise. :moon: I wore myself out so bad in the mains that I didn't make TNT today either. Had such a good time though that I am seriously thinking about trying to make Shelby this weekend. By the way, sometimes those pick-pockets change their mind and put the money back in a safe location......so don't feel bad about freaking out :)
