Hey don't worry about the surgery firecracker22. The surgery is a piece of cake. I went in thinking that when i woke up I'd be in so much pain that I wanted to die. But I was mistaken. The only pain I had when I woke up was just a headache from all the anesthesia medicine they gave me to knock me out. True, my leg was a little sore but that's about all it was because right when you get out of surgery the doc's place your leg in a CPM (constant passive motion) machine to make your leg move back and forth so you will still have mobility. That machine feels pretty good because it stretches your leg out and contracts it plus they hook you up to a neuromuscular stimulator to stimulate your quadriceps. My doc told me that like the first day of surgery, my leg would be sore, but the next day after surgery, I would supposedly be in tons of pain, which didn't happen. They gave me all these pain pills and i dont think I've taken maybe 6 pills total since last Thursday and I'm already able to walk without crutches even though my doctor and physical therapist tell me to use them. So don't worry about the operation, it's not painful or anything. Sure, your leg gets sore but that's about it unless you are one of the unlucky ones who bombs the operation and are in constant pain which doesn't happen that much. Take care, and good luck!:D
