Torque Spacer Kits

I just bought a MOOSE RACING TORQUE SPACER KIT for my 1997 KDX22Rr and I put it on but the carb was hitting the shock so I am thinking of cutting the neck on the intake boot shorter but I dont want to cut it if I dont have to. Does anyone know what I should do?

I just cut the neck of the intake boot about a half of an inch shorter and then modified a clamp to fit the boot just right. I have not rode the bike yet to see if it makes a difference so when I do ride it I will let you guys know about the perfromance

Seems like Moose should have the best answer to this.

I thought the torque spacers are like a split plenium and they get installed on the filter side of the carb kinda like the R&B mod
