torque with air compressor?

someone may have ask this already,but I couldnt fine anything
on it.If a person sets air regulater at 80 psi,would that be
the same as 80 ft lbs?or is there some conversion factor,
or it might not be worth messing with.
have more questions than answers always.

It is not the same, and there is no way to figure for what sort of torque will be delivered by a standanrd air wrench at a given poundage, consistantly.
You can torque down a bolt and check the torque that was placed on it at a given pressure and be in the ballpark. But for any torques that our bikes require, do not use this method.
