I tried to install a new trailtech computer on my bike tonight (going to hatfield soon!) but took it off because of a problem. The metal computer holder sticks out over my number plate, so that when my forks go down about halfway the cable would probably loop around the computer and metal holder to prevent the forks from going all the way back up.

Do any of you run a trailtech on your mx bike with a stock number plate? If so how do you mount your computer so the cables won't loop around the top?

(Sorry I was going to post pictures but that apparently is not allowed for newbies).

I have a trailtech. I scrapped the OEM mount and opted to make my own. I ended up mounting the unit on a plate of aluminum and bent the mount so that it could use the handlebar mount bolts to hold it in place. This put the computer behind the bars, closer to me. If I remember I'll snap a picture of the mount today.
