My oil in my CR is usually gray and opaque after 1 ride. I have never seen accelerated gear or bearing wear due to aluminum particles in the oil. I don't believe it would hurt anything to leave it in there longer. I change it frequently because the aluminum will start to fall out of suspension after a while and leave big deposits of itself all over the transmission case.
