Triple Clamp Questions

I got new triple clamps and they put your well and forks and all that 18 mm farther forward is this good or bad? :think:

I don't think they put anything 18mm farther than where it was. I'm guessing they're 18mm offset clamps, meaning the centerline of the forks is 18mm behind the centerline of the steering stem. I don't know what the stock offset of your bike is, but I'd guess it's not more than 2mm different either way.

BTW, on the KTM 520's and CRF450's the latest fad is to go with different offset to help them turn better.
