Last week we attended a media gathering where Triumph Racing announced their plans to race the SuperMotocross World Championship in 2024. They spoke about developing a 250cc machine which will be unveiled at the 2024 season opener and plans of a “three rider team” for the first year. A 450cc race bike will follow the next year in 2025. The team also unveiled their leadership for the US effort which includes Bobby Hewitt as team principal, Steve Westfall as team manager, Ricky Carmichael as global off-road ambassador, and Jeremy Appleton as global racing manager.
