I am trying to get into dirtbikes...as I thoroughly enjoy rebuilding cars, but I am kind of in the dark. I live in a remote area and I found 2 bikes. One is a Yamaha 246cc, that is really clean, no gear teeth broken, but piston is stressed. The other is a 123cc, not sure what brand,(i think yamaha), stripped the way I found it, but engine is in good shape except for clutch plate and crank rust. I am just trying to figure out what year the 246 is, obviously older, almost looks like a road/off-road bike. Any help on where I could obtain parts/find out what model I have would be great. Also if you could help by seeing pics, I can take some this week. Thx for your help, I cant wait to dive into the biking world
