I have a 2001 YZ 250 2t and was wondering if anyone has instaled the Tusk clutch kit from Rocky mountain ATV.

I've used their parts. They work. But I don't think I'd use them if I were racing, and depended on the parts to survive. Since I'm not racing, and a minor failure just means I stop riding for the day, it's not important.

I used one in an RM250. The springs were shoddy, one actually had an offset end. The plates seemed pretty decent. The bike hasn't been ridden much since so I can't say anything for durability. I'm sure if you happened to get some defective parts, like the spring we had, Rocky Mtn would take care of it seeing as how Tusk is thier brand and all.

Their springs worked well in my YZ250F and the plates were great in my son's SX125.

i have used them on plenty of yz250f and crf450 race bikes without issue. Racing weekly on the bikes.

with that being said, i dont ever use aftermarket springs like the Tusk or EBC ones. If they are less than $20, there is a reason.

Tusk clutch kits with stock springs. Work great!
