I think I've found what I'm looking for in a hand guard with the Tusk D-Flex at Rocky Mountain. They look solid, mid-sized, and are priced right. Has anyone had any experiance with their stuff? I can't seem to find anything about them on the web.

On another note, I found this Maxxis review while roaming the web. Perhaps it can help someone narrow there tire choices.

I bought a set of d-flex handguards over the summer and had only one problem with them. They look and match your bike's color great and for durability they are awesome. The only problem i had was the tapered head bolts that go into the end of the bars was that the head of the bolt stripped out when i was tighting it up(made out of really crummy steel i guess). all i did was go the hardware store and bought 2 new bolts(1.00 each) and put em on. they are really sturdy and solid and look great and almost half the cost of motonations "whackers" (49.99 at Rockymountainmc) they are a great deal.

I bought the same guards and my bolts also stripped out, but the guards have lasted pretty good

I bought some TUSK aluminum bars and I have been very happy with them. They have held up thorugh a couple of hard spills.
