I've got an '80 Husky 250 OR with Motoplat stator. During riding, the backing plate timing bolts loosened and the bike quit. The stator apparently cracked a bit but still puts out about 12 Volts AC and 1.5 Volts DC during kick. Anyone know if this is right? Can you have a bad stator with partial voltage? I replaced my coil with a PVL when the bike died assuming it was the coil but I still can't get a spark.:(
