Hey Guys/James, is Uwharrie open yet? My g/f wants to head out there this weekend if we go to Manchester for the Suthin ride and just wanted to know if they opened back up yet? Thanks.

You probably meant the other James, but I thought i'd post anyway!

I don't have a clue about when it opens, but I found a website that has the phone number to the ranger's station.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see it. I just asumed it never closed, but I guess i'm wrong.

I think it is on the same schedule as Brown Mt. Safest thing is to give them a call.

Bryan, are you saying that if the group heads to Manchester you won't? The trails there are very 4 wheeler friendly.

Oooo No Gomer don't be concerned. I'll be there, I just don't think my fiance will attend. Shes not real fond of the sand as all the whoops hurt her rump :whiner: :laugh: I'm there reguardless, they(being Her and her cousins) may end up going to Uwharrie.
