I have an '03 RM. Used to be a MXer, but now ride woods. For MX the V-Force is an improvement, but not as beneficial as in the woods. For woods riding, I spend so much more time working in the low RPM range, and that's where I found the greatest gain with the V-Force...friendlier transition to mid. range and crisper responce, more torquey feel. But when the trail gets fast, or if playing around on an MX track, MAYBE it's worth the $. For tight woods, it's a must.
