I did my first check of the valves after break in and my exhaust clearance was way off. The book gives an clearance for the exhaust to be .011 +/- .001 inches. I measured mine and it was at .005 inches. Is that normal for the first valve check?
My intakes were alot closer to the spec at .004 and .003 when the spec was .005 +/- .001 inches and thats what making me wonder why the exhaust was so much more off.
