I'm a Department Manager for a Medium sized Aerospace manufacturer in the San Diego area and we are looking for some highly skilled people. We need a Project Manager and some process engineers (salary positions) along with a few journeyman nc machinists (hourly). We build engine components so we are looking for people with a background that includes tight tolerance (+- .0005) processes (machining and sheetmetal fabrication experience). I tought I'd throw it out here cause I could always use more people around the shop that ride. The weather in this area can't be beat you can ride 365 days a year (if you can get the time off work) and everyone knows socal has the most riding areas. If you're interested send me a PM and I'll turn in your resume or let you know who to contact to submit it.

Note: I can only get your info. to the HR dept. I don't do the hiring for these positions. I believe the engineering positions will start out as a contract position and I don't think they pay relocation expenses but you'd have to talk to the HR department about that..

It's not just machining one basic dimension on a small part. We're talking machining (lathe and mill) of a complete assy. with corelating features including true positioning of .001-.005. The parts can be as big as five feet in diameter and as small as a few inches but mostly somewhere in between.

Send me you resume Okie. I'm sure the socal wrecking crew will let you in? ;)
