You are wasting your time if you don't replace both seals at the same time. Removal of the engine cover is neccessary to do this on most bikes. You need to take care of this. It may not seem like much water, but it only takes a small amount of water over an extended time period to ruin the tranny bearings and gall the gear surfaces. While you are at it, inspect the impellor shaft carefully for any wear or grooving where the seals contact it. If you can detect any wear, replace this as well. It is not expensive, and will keep the new seals from failing prematurely.
