Hi all I just have a few questions as to how easy or hard it is to replace? I have been told to remove the clutch cover and impeller shaft then just re and re the seal!!! Is it really that simple? I just wanted to be sure before starting!!!

Since nobody has replied yet, I will. In order to change the water pump seal you must: Remove outer clutch cover, remove inner clutch cover, remove impeller, remove outer seal, tap water pump shaft out, tap bearing out, tap inner seal out. To install you must do everything do everything in the reverse order and put some high temp grease on the seals before installing. I am in the process of doing this to my KDX250 right now. It isn't very hard.

It's not bad at all. I had to replace mine, took about 20 minutes. Nearma's instructions are very good, however, some of the older models do not have the "outer seal". If you'rs does not, it's a good idea to order parts from a slightly later model that have both the inner/outer seals and use both.
