i have a 96 cr500 does any one know if you have to replace water pump shaft if there is grooves in it from old seals or is it common and new seal will seal it.thanks

i think you need a new shaft
my book only shows a 250? -and its for a 500 -(the book is ) lol
check out bike bandit for a exploded view of parts finder
