Just picked on of these up and have 2 minor questions.
1) Will a newer (04-06) CRF front fender fit?
2) It seems to leak a very small amount of water beneath the water pump from a (drainage?) hole. I notice in the repair manual that you cannot replace just a seal - that the shaft, and seals all come in a kit. Is anyone familiar with this?

go to a website that sells fenders and just look at the model chart. They changed the front fenders in 02 i believe or maybe 03. Not sure if they'd work or not. depends on the angle of the the new ones, might hit your radiator or the hole pattern could be different.
