Crossing my fingers on this one. Spent many good times 4-wheeling through that canyon............................ and it is getting harder and harder to slide my bike under that frickin pipe fence they put up in the middle of the canyon.

JP have you heard any news regarding Randsburg closures. I don't know the full story, but the jest was that the citizens of the town were trying to close the public streets to off-roaders.

Yeah, I've been hearing this also, right now they are trying to draft an ord. to stop it, but even the business owners are not real thrilled with trying to stop it, we are a big part of their income.

The thing I'm not sure of is the San Bernardino ord. they are working on, if Randsberg is in SB county, then it's a good posibility we will be ban from the streets.

On the othe hand, there are legal trails into Randsberg and the OHV community has or will buy a 2 acre lot for OHV parking.

Yeah it does, it makes it a fight between the residents and the business owners who want to keep us around

As it is the CHP and the sheriffs for the area don’t allow you to ride on the streets into town anyways. There’s basically one way your suppose to come in and out of town :ride: and as soon as you hit the pavement your suppose to push the bike. The people around the town aren’t all that bad; it’s the idiot riders that scream around kicking up dust in town on their bikes that get their goat. :pissed: I’ve seen it happen first hand and can understand why they might get a little upset. For the most part, 99% of the people visiting towns on dirt bikes are families with kids in tow. The remaining 1% are the fools you see that give us a bad name. Ransburg is a fun stop after a ride. They have the bar type saloon and an Ice Cream Parlor that are fun to take a break at after a day of riding.
