Well, I finally caved

Alright, here's the deal. After being around all those stupid dark side rides, I went and made a purchase this weekend. I know, I've been the 2 smoke king and hate the thumper stuff, but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on a certain 4 smoker, brand new, right off the floor. I'm ready for all the hassle I'm about to receive, so bring it on. :yeehaw: As the day progresses, I'll grab some photos of it, it's getting some special stuff added, just cause.;) Stand by for some spy photos from Elk's garage.......

Congrats on the new ride. I too am making the change. I sold my KX500 and am on the waiting list for an '03 KTM 525 exc. I think it will be in by Dec. By the way it sure would be a good break in for the new bikes and a warm up for the Reno trip if you got that Ocotillo ride (that we couldn't get last season)planned for maybe Jan. How about it?

Here's the story: Went to the dealer and told him my sobb story about Twinkie beating me off the line at DW. The guy was real sympathetic and asked what kind of monster would do such a thing. He showed me the whole lineup of 03 models, even suggested some spy confidential type bikes. When I told him it was a Yamy 426, he laughed and had to excuse himself. He came back with a straight face and told me he has something that will blow away the competiion, especially a Texas turd on a 426. He brought me to a secret room with voice, retina and fingerprint recognition softeware to keep intruders out. When he opened the door, steam and fog poured out, my eyes watered and my voice cracked as I said, "WHAT IS IT!?" I looked through tear filled eyes and saw...........
