Hand grab? I can get 1.5 fingers on it..
There is one on the left on 89-94's so the coolant bottle doesn't eat it while bushwhaking.

I thought it was the doo-dad.

Thanks for setting me straight on that one, I'd hate to go on a ride and look like a fool for telling someone to grab their doo-dad and give it a heave.

That piece on the frame protects the rider from the pipe when you hit a tree on the front of the pipe and the pipe wants to bend or break at that spot. I've seen it work.You need to be going about 30 mph. :ohmy:
