it's entirely possible I am mistaken on which site I read the article. Anyway, outboards run 250:1 in some circumstances. Running 16:1 is like saying you refuse to use hydro electric power.
Ratio's are like bungs...everyone has one and some smell worse than others. :)
If a man is happy with running Amsoil @ 250:1 then why in the world would he change? Bliss is bliss.

No. We re run 20:1 currently with Amsoil 2000 in the 85 & 125 (150 kit) both in race fuel or a mix for practice. I have used Xamax by Phillips and MX2T at that ratio even in my 300 with good results.
