What size bike should I get

I'm almost 16 and im 115 lbs and 5'6" and need to know if I should get an 80-90 or get a 125. Being 15 I can't get much money and 125s are a good bit more expensive(I'de be getting used either way). I can get a kx80-90(owner doesn't know) for $950, but a used 125 would be a lot more as far as I've seen. I've riden my brother's yfz450 but no dirtbikes, but I also don't want to get a 80 and be grown out of it by next year. I'm not sure if I'm big enough for a 125 but my brother says I am. I'll probably want to race mx once i get used to riding(we have a ranch I can ride on and a couple tracks near me) so I don't know if I should just try to get a 125 that I can alsways use or just get a smaller one to start out with. Thanks

i whould go with a yz 250f pretty much same size as a 125 but the 250f is a 4-stroke and if u wanna race the 250f u can, the 250f and the 125 r in the same class and it seems up hear in alaska every 1s on 4-stroke and there killin all the 2-strokes, it is easy to ride once u get used to it, i have 1 now im 15 and 5'11 and never had a better bike in my life!

go with the 250f i ride my uncles all the time and i am 14 5'5 150lbs you should have no problem

A 250f might be a little expensive for you. I would think you could pick-up a decent 125 for about $1500. I think you would get bored on an 80-90 pretty quickly, if you are wanting to race.

i agree with the 125. save up for it because you'll be cramped on an 80. dave is right about being able to find one for 1500 or somewhere around there. if that kx is going for less than a grand, then there's probably something wrong with it. good luck.

Go with a 125.I'm 5'5 and 100 pounds and i have a yz125.There awsome get one.You'll love riding

Yeah I thought I should probably get a 125, but it'll be hard to wait for it since I don't have enough money yet.

i have a yz 125 and its great it goes about 50 in second gear and its pretty reliable im 5'10 145lbs and its a perfect biek adn there pretty cheap used

I do have a job, but it sucks ass so I only work 3 days a week, and that's only for the summer since I can't work and go to school. I am going to get a 125 I'm just going to sell a bunch of my stuff that I don't need and hopefully I'll have enough.
