i have a 99rm125 and need new friction plates, i have a hinson basket, should i get cork based or kevlar. Which brand/type do you suggest.

I would go w/ the kevlar. Is it possible for you to get the stock friction plates?

In my experiences oem is the best way go for clutch plates. I have had problems with thickness inconsistencies on aftermarket

We tried a aftermarket clutch in a 01 kx125, ended up buying a OEM one the next day.. My vote is for oem..

I hate the EBC's but have had good luck with the moose steel plate sets
