I'm switching from a 2000 Yz 125 to a 250F and am wondering what to buy. I will be buying a 2004 most likely, but maybe a 2005. All I seem to find are YZ with a few CR. Which is the best, fastest, least likely to break down and most comfortable. My brother just bought a 2005 CRF 250 and says they are the best. I love the way my YZ handled and want some insight on the newer 4 strokes.
Thanks,
David
If you're concerned with reliability (as you should be), I would consider only a Yamaha or a Honda from the '04-'05 bike crop. Both are great bikes. In my opinion, the '04-'05 Yamaha has a better motor, and the '04-'05 CRF handles a little better.
I vote for the yamaha myself I know that bike is reliable I would have to say stay away from the KXF/RMZ I actually saw/touched a broke/chipped exhaust valve today on an '06 KX 250F! freakin time bombs 250F's are definetly buy one that was maintained if they can't tell ya how many hours or when stuff was changed last RUN!!
