anyone having a white christmas? I've only seen one in my life. In '89 we had ~36" on christmas. We almost never get any of the white stuff (every four or five years we get a dusting). It's rather depressing to have temps in the mid 60's at christmas. It makes it hard to get in the spirit. I've been outside all week doing my snow dance ( much to my wife's and neighbors dismay), but no luck. Someone overnight me some snow. I'm going into withdrawal. I want snow!!!!!!!!!!!
That white stuff is not as fun as you think. I got to ride earlier this week and it is the first time I have gotten to ride in December ever. I'll give it to you winter is fun maybe the first week. But when you find that when you get home from work or school you have to shovel just about everyday it gets depressing. Sledding down hills doesn't hold a candle to dirtbiking. Of all days I want Christmas to be green. My neighbors gave me an camelback type system today but I don't get to use it. I know tomorrow I am getting some new gear and dirtbike stuff. I won't get to use it. For my birthday the 29 I am getting a new helmet. You get the picture. Give me a green Christmas any day. In fact death to snow altogether.
0% chance of a white Christmas where I live; Canada!! In fact, most of western Canada is going to be having a "green" Christmas, well, except the high elevations of course.
Merry Christmas!!
Normaly i have a white christmas. This time last year i had almost 3 feet. But this year, no no no snow for me. I love to X country ski and downhill. And i love my sled (of course it has a motor!) and this weather dissapoints me:mad:
We had about two feet and are getting more. The maintenance crew at the local track is hard at work and man can you get up to speed on totally flat ice straightaways on the 520 with studded Trelleborgs.
