In college I worked in the student activity center passing out weight belts and kicking out people that did not belong in the center. It was the coolest job that I ever had. The place was never busy on my shifts. I got paid to do my home work, play pool, and watch the hundreds of channels they have on satellite. Before digital became popular. It was an 8' dish with five or six birds to choose from (auto alligning to each one). If it paid as good as my current job I would have taken another major. The coolest thing about it was we had six pool tables and on snooker table. My roomate and I won the semiester touriment in doubles a couple of times and I took the single once. I played at least 2 hours a day when I worked and for about an hour every day after lunch. I was pretty good when I left college. I have not played much since, but when I do its like riding a bike( it all comes back). I wanted to join a legue, but I travel a lot a would not be home for most of the games so I didn't join. Since I left college I have not found anyone that shares the interest. Its a shame because I realy enjoy the game. We used to call it "Shootin some stick". I would love to have a table in my house. Someday I will have a place big enough to put one.
