So who's gonna be there? Jonala & I are pre-entering for the same minute. I'm riding C-Vet. I'm planning on arriving at CC on Friday 3/7 with the mobil palace and riding the Piglet on Saturday on the KX500 and the Boar on Sunday on my WR400.

Hey Brian Retsenior and I are sending to ride the same minute on the WILDBOAR.

What is the cost for a nights stay in the mobil Palace.

Now be gentle Brian!

Cost per night: 1 Homer Simpson talking watch per person.

My trailer has a fold out couch and the dinette drops down to make a bed. Only problem, no offense to either you or George, is that I really don't think the dinette bed will hold either of you - it's pretty short and I question it's strength. The good thing is since my trailer has the living room slide out it's really easy for someone to sleep on the floor.

Hi Brian,
We want to go, went many moons ago and used a motorhome which we no longer have. Anybody with lodging advise such as name, location, how far from the event and such??

Also I posted this question to Bill but now see that it was done in a the Piglet post:

What if I, an "A Senior" want to ride on the same minute with my son who is a "C 4-stroke"?

We love to ride together but need to be scored in our respective classes.
As an A rider I am no pro but may make a few C riders mad riding on their minute, my son on the other hand I feel does well enough to ride in the B group but would not suggest to move him up having never won a C class.
Trophy's and working through the classes are fun that I no longer get to enjoy but would like him to have.

Can we ride in the "B" group but get scored in our perspective class?
Seems like there should be a way for family fun without splitting us up.

Anybody else have the same trouble?

You'll both ride with the C Class rows, according to the D36 Rule Book. I doubt you'll anger any C riders. When you pass us we'll just think "Look at that guy fly! Why I am going so slow!?". As an A Rider you might not like the bottlenecks we C riders occasionally generate, we're a social bunch. ;) As long as all A/B/C riders ride the same course (which I think they do in this case), there are no scoring issues.

I think the A riders rode a third section - 10-15 miles of hell? - last year. Farmer John where are you?

I wouldn't call it that. ;)
During the clean up one of our club members (former 6 day rider) decided it was easier to just walk the last section than try to ride & pull ribbon.

Not sure about the Boar, but the QS won't have a third loop except for a very few classes. Like B vet and such that last year would have done it won't this year. Only if you are in a top class or going for the overall will you be doing the third loop.

That surprises me because I quit riding the QS a few years ago because the "A" loop was no fun anymore on my older body.
Thanks for the info...

QS 3rd loop is not part of the race for the A & B Senior,Super Senior & gentelman unless you wish top compete for the OA
The Boar will have 3 loops that everbody will be riding, no split

Alan, the 3rd also doesn't appear to be in the cards for A and B Vets either .... according to the flyer on the Salinas Rambler site ...

"The event will consist of three loops covering approximately 100 miles. AA, A and B Sportsman riders will ride three loops while A and B Vet, Senior, Super Senior, Gentlemen, Women and all C riders will ride two loops of approximately 80 miles."

Is that the C course or just the additional loop for the good riders?

wsmc831 is both a whiner and a wimp. I hope he marks score cards at Piglet better than he'll ride the Boar ;)

Do you plan on riding your bike this year, or is it going to sit around on display? ;)

What do you mean, My bikes never sit around, someone ELSE is always riding it. :(

..I remember you using one of my bikes a couple of years ago... But this year my stay around camp will be limited...that way i don't get sucked into sign-ups AGAIN...
