"wsmc831 is both a whiner and a wimp. I hope he marks score cards at Piglet better than he'll ride the Boar "

OH YEA?! I sure hope you don't get taken out in the first hundred yards again THIS year. Or you dont' face plant in a stream before the first check.
Or get beat by a complete newbie to the first check.

I would say I hope you learned something last year, but at your age, it's probably REALLY hard to learn new things.

someday you'll have to learn how to take yer cahones from the bowl on the mantle.

...actually...I'd like to learn that as well :-)

Don't let KTMZAK scare you, we have resets set up to get most all back on time, great trails. You will be late in the tests but you don't need a tank to get through. He just got a little banged up on one of the trails before we got a couple of the limbs trimmed back one day when we were doing trail maintance and hasn't ridden the course sense then and we cleaned up some ruts and other things.

Speaking of "tanks" what about the size fuel tank needed on this ride.
My boy rids a 02 YZ250F with stock 1.8gal and we are having a hard time trying to find a bigger one for it. Any idea how far to gas & finish?

The longest loop is about 43 ground miles, the others are around 20 & 30 each. This is dependent on what the BLM says we can or can't run when they give us our permit. Funny they have had the map sense Sept and are just now asking questions.

EnduroDude, your son should be OK. I just rode Hollister yesterday with a buddy that rides a 01 YZ250F and he went 50 miles on the stock tank and still had some gas left on both sides. I think it actually MAKES gas! Of course, Clear Creek will also eat more gas the Hollister.

So did the same guys that cut last years Piglet cut this years Boar? Can you have someone over 5'6" ride those trails and clear those darn low hanging branches that us vertically 'gifted' riders find? Please :whiner:

It's looking pretty good ... I'll likely make it for the Boar this time around. Probably try to work at a check or just spectate for the Piglet ... my first time riding in Central / Nor Cal.

Retsenior and UnkleMoose,

I'll be breathing or is that wheezing down your neck. I'm 52L.

I don't know if you know this but 51 is the first Row for C riders. Maybe we can use some of those slow B riders as traction on the slippery stuff!

Thumbs is passing on this one. I'm heading up early Saturday morning ... probably roll between 8 and 10 AM. I'm gonna camp.

I figure I'll get some light riding in on Saturday, spectate a bit, maybe try to hang at a check. Then race the Boar on Saturday.
