will a 2004 cr80 plastics fit on a 1995?

my friend wants to get new plastics for his bike he has a 1995 cr80(not expert),he likes the newer plastics andhe was wonderin if they would fit on his bike,i told him i dont think they would fit,but i figured i would post here thnx 4 any help!

They are a completely different chassis (the 95 was the last year of a chassis that originated in 1984 ish), so outside of fenders, I doubt it. He would be taking an expensive gamble if decides to try.

im sorry my mistake i just called he says the bike is an1996 does this mean hecan fit the plastics then?thnx!

96 was the first year of the newer chassis, but beyond that I'm not sure of the exact differences since then.
