C/O Will Davis <Taken from the Goldsboro Newspaper> William A. Davis, 36, of 108 Hyacinth Road, died Saturday in Missouri. A native of Wayne County, he is the son of Hubert Avery Davis and Margaret Joyce Davis of Goldsboro. Mr. Davis was a professional flat track motorcyclist with Moroney's Harley Davidson Racing Team in Newburg, N.Y. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Sauls officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Rhonda Kittrell Davis; a son, Cole Avery Davis of the home; a brother, Frank Davis and his wife, Bonnie, of Goldsboro; a sister-in-law, Cindy White, and husband, Mike, of Lexington, S.C.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Ann Kittrell of Goldsboro; his paternal grandfather, Hubert Avery Davis Sr. of Seven Springs; and his nieces, Emilee White and Alyssa White of Lexington, S.C. He was preceded death by his grandparents, Lois Spence Davis, Clarence Frank Grant and Julia Walker Grant.
