Always Broken

Last Sat at Hidden Valley in Ettrick Wis KNiles812 (Kevin) came up short on a uphill stepup. He instantly joined the Broken Collar Bone Club. Once home and looked over by an ortho surgeon it was decided that he was going in for surgery.
Surgery was today and once in they found not only the 2 obvious breaks but many more fractures and alot of bone chips floating around. 8 screws and some titanium plate and he is now recoverring at the hospital for the night and then home sometime Friday afternoon.
Right now the prognosis is that his new CRF250 will be resting for 3 months. Sucks to be 16 and sitting on the sideline watching your friends racing but Kevin will be back out there as soon as he possibly (and safely) can

Kevin:

As others have said, stay diligent with your PT and listen to your Doctors. At least until they start telling you to quit such a dangerous sport.

Hang in there, it will not be long.
