WORCS East and West to split

Either way it looks like the "marriage is over!"

WORCS East promoter Bill Gussie told me about the possible "breakup" a couple of months ago and now I see that next year's WORCS schedule doesn't come to the midwest.

Oh well.

Bill showed me a tentative schedule for up to 8 races next year.

It includes races in the following states.

Ohio
Illinois
Minnesota
Iowa
Missouri
Arkansas
Oklahoma

I also talked to most of the Pro riders and they enjoy Bill's race locations.

Watt's, Davis and Garrahan (and others) all agree that Kahoka, MO, Waukon, IA, and Millville (Spring Creek), MN are probably some of the best off-road racing venues in the country.

Let's hope Bill gets the industry support he's looking for to put together a 1st class series. He told me he's shooting for $25,000 in guarenteed purse money!!!
