Xtreme 50

A friend of mine son has a xtreme 50 it starts ok but when you give it gas it will lug down and die you can change the gas and it will run fine for a bit then it will do it again. any idea on what it might be?

crap in the float bowl. remove and clean carb and see how it goes. Sounds like you occasionally suck some junk up in the main jet.
