I am about to get a new trail bike and its going to be one of these two for a few reasons. Reason #1 they are perfect for the kind of riding I will be doing, #2 they are affordable, #3 I have not been riding long and I dont want something with crazy power that i am going to kill myself on....

So once again here are the two choices Yamaha TT-R230 or Honda CRF 230....

my buddy owns the Honda. I have some time on it. Its a very gentle bike. Low to the ground and easy to drive, a great bike to teach my wife how to ride. I would say if this is the size your lookn for, either one is a good choice.

Those two are pretty close, sit on them at the dealer. See what kind of a deal you can get. Find out if there is any thing about the dealers that stands out, good or bad. The Honda has a a 6 mo warranty and the Yamaha has 3 mo one. It may come down to what color you like ;)

Bad bike.

Sorry cant tell u yet. my battery is still Fuzzed up.My bike was sittting there at the dealer for a year so thats probably why its not firing right and such. im gunna let the dealer take a look at it tomarrow. They are a good authorized dealer, its just my bike i guess.Dont let this distract you. Like these guys told u already, its probably all in what color u like.Whats important is that it fits you, and u like it.

definately go for the better deal that you can get. the bikes are going to be the same. If you are a yamaha guy go yamaha or if honda go honda. it really doesnt matter. if you will be happy with that kind of bike either will suit you just fine.
