Yamaha Yz 125 Sprocket Size?

Which sprocket size do you recommend for Yamaha Yz 125 2001?
Front and rear...
Standard is 13t front and 48t rear. Some people are saying +2t rear.
What do you think? What are you useing?

What are you riding? MX or Woods or both? I went to a 13/50 and it was a good all around gearing ratio.

I then went to a 13/52 for woods riding and wow what a difference. It allows the bike to lug more in the tight stuff and not stall as often.

If you are riding strictly MX I would probably go with the 13/50.

This was on a 2001 YZ125.

Here's something else you may want to think about on the '01. Read the whole thread. It makes a difference and is cheap and easy to do if you have a manual.

Get the spring if you do it. Don't bother with the spacers. It is the same amount of work and you have the factory part in there.

So 13/50 is a good combination?
I`m riding mostly in sand.
