I'm in the process of getting new fork springs for my 1999 yz 125 but and having some trouble in figuring out what would suit me best. I weigh a little less than 150 without gear and do mostly motocross. I know I want to up the rate but I cant decide on how much to go. Right now, I belive the stockers are.42. I was looking at some .45 springs that I could get a pretty good deal on, but would that be too much? Thanks.

yea .45's would be way to stiff for you the .41's or . 42's are definetly what you want. .45's are something I'd suggest to someone who was easy 200 lbs plus. Sure they would work but you'd have to adjust the oil hieght out and probably back off the clickers a good bit. They'd probably offer to much of a harsh ride for you if you got .45's.

45 isnt that much -they will sack out just like the rest of the springs out there espescially if you are in motocross
i would go with them/diff oil weight ,possibly revalve
