its is VERY hard to start my YZ it has a brand new spark plug in it, and it is really hard to start, i couldnt even get it to start, my stepdad hardly got it to start, would the problem be, the idle screw isnt turned enough, or the jet has come loose? and if its the idle screw, WHERE is it on the carb?

The idle screw is the gold screw on the left side of the carb. At least on my bike it is anyways. It sounds like you need a new top end AKA piston and piston rings.

Is the air filter clean and oiled correctly? How about the carburetor, clogged jets could be the problem or chipped or cracked reed is another possibility. You need to eliminate these three potential issues in the order they are listed.

Good luck!

i dont think it oculd be much id try spraying some wd40 or starter fluid with the lubricant in it down the spark plug hole and letting it sit for about 20 minutes and then try and start it it should make it alot easier.
